Waage Transnational. Combination of social and economic performance in a labour market integration model

Funding programme

Transnational ESF, Directive 4

Land Brandenburg

Short description

The focus of this project for the transnational exchange of know-how and experience, is on issues related to the social and economic performance within a new labour market integration model for difficult to place, long-term unemployed people. In particular, declining social security benefits should be used for the creation of regular jobs.

The overarching goal of this pilot is to employ 30 long-term unemployed people with a difficult labour market integration background at the company Horizont in Germany and to the annually reduced wage subsidies (80, 60, 40, 20 percent) to release them after four years from receiveing social security benefits.

Consultations, consulting conversations and mutual project visits at the partner organisation of the project consortium in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Italy are to be carried out.
