Brief description
Different discriminating processes (often unconsciously) appear in VET and labour market and play a significant role in failed integration processes. Taking this situation into consideration means that any integrative intervention for ethnic minorities must incorporate direct contacts with the world of work.
The worse the social situation, the less likely people are to take part in adult education, ethnic minorities take considerably less part in adult learning than the native population."
The main aim of the project for ethnic minorities and migrants in working age is to transfer and implement approaches, methods and materials, in particular FIBA "Förderung in Berufswahl und Ausbildung", which has been operated from ESTA-Bildungswerk Germany to other European countries.
