Building learning societies: Promoting the validation of non-formal and informal learning (Solidar)

Short description

The project will further develop an approach which aims at the promotion of the concept for the „creation of learning societies“ outside the environment of formal learning. This approach shows that learning supports individuals in dealing with the challenges of modern life while strengthening feelings of civic and social responsibility.

Selected activities:

• Current situation with regards to the recognition of non-formal and informal learning in the partner countries
• Creating campaign materials
• Summary of contributions from experts on the existing procedures relating to recognition / validation
• Publication of a European “guidebook” on the matter
