BASIMET - Skilled Workers Training Upper Austria - South Bohemia

 Project aim:

• System comparison CZ-AT identification of qualification-profiles in the metal industry
• Development and testing of cross-border basic trainings in the field of metalworking and -engineering
• Recommendations for mutual recognition of qualifications in AT and CZ as an entry into a common training system

Project content:

• Model development for basic and specialized training and partial qualification programmes in the professional field of metall working and -engineering
• Implementation of pilot training
• Catalog of recommendations for recognition of qualifications in AT and CZ
• Development of modular further education system for both informal and formally acquired technical and vocational skills with opportunity for national and EU-wide recognition
