Short description:
The main objectives of the project are:
- the development of joint teaching and learning modules in the field of the sustainable global development goals of the United Nations for young people in Europe
- the development of a European program of Teacher-Personnel Partnerships to promote the global competences of young people, and
- a digital resource platform for teaching and collaboration between teachers, trainers and learners, supported by the strategic partnership
Partner countries are Denmark, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
Activities include the joint design of teaching and learning modules in the field of sustainability, the application of pilot modules for teachers and trainers' in-service training to build partnerships in youth education, the European evaluation and design of partnerships in teaching with didactics and teaching material development with digital media, and finally the development and introduction of a digital knowledge and resource platform.
Teaching development and didactics are based on experience- and problem-based learning with cross-cultural teamwork towards the global goals of sustainable development. This is intended to have a strong impact on the young people involved, on the teachers, trainers and organizations involved, and a long-term benefit for society as a whole in supporting future generations of global communities on issues of sustainable development.
